Fortress Bonsmara Stud
During 16 years Fortress made rapid stud breeding progress
within the scientific breeding Milieu of the indigenous
South African Bonsmara breed culminating in their total
stud dispersal sales for:
- All 393 stud females were sold in 2006 at a then record
price of R7.153.000 at an average price of R18.202 each
- Stud bulls were sold in 2006 / 2007 at a price of R3.592.000
at an average price of R49.889 each

a platform to develop a detailed cattle knowledge and
a network of loyal supporters, clients and suppliers
for calves/weaners for their feedlot. An excellent foundation for their commercial Bonsmara herd was laid in retaining and using semen of their best stud bulls in their artificial synchronized insemination system. |
