FORTRESS ANNUAL COMMERCIAL BONSMARA FEMALE SALES TAKE PLACE ANNUALLY ON THE 2ND TUESDAY IN FEBRUARY AT 11:00 ON FORTRESS, FRANKFORT IN THE FREE STATE. THE NEXT SALE WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY, THE 9TH  FEBRUARY 2010.

600 High quality commercial Bonsmara females:

• Heifers, heavy in calf
• Pregnant Heifers
• Open Heifers (ready for the bull)
• Cows, heavy in calf
• Pregnant Cows
• Cows with Calves (ran with bull; possible 3-in-1)
• Bonsmara Stud Bulls (2½ years old)

This auction is held by FORTRESS BONSMARAS consisting of 600 to 800 animals of 11 commercial breeders (friends and clients of FORTRESS), as well as the FORTRESS commercial Bonsmara herd.

This auction will give any buyer of commercial animals who wants to start, or is in a herd-building phase, a unique opportunity to purchase top commercial genetics. Experience has shown that the majority of the females are of such a quality that they could be presented to the Bonsmara Cattle Breeders' Society inspectors for possible basic
Bonsmara stud animals.
